Distance Measure 3.5.11

This application allows users to accurately measure the point-to-point (great-circle) distance between two or more waypoints on a map, or to determine the surface area enclosed by a polygon with three or more points as its vertices.

The app utilizes online maps, thereby necessitating an active internet connection.

Setting a new waypoint is as simple as tapping and holding on the desired location. For further instructions or to customize settings such as map type or unit of measurement, simply tap the options icon. The available units include (kilo)meters, feet/yards/miles, and nautical miles. Additionally, the options menu provides a convenient Save/Restore view.

To toggle between different units of measurement, tap the calculated result displayed at the bottom of the map. Choose between feet/yards/miles or meters/hectometers/kilometers.
